I'm sorry to barge in but this is very important.

A young lady named Jenny Rowe that goes to my school, Barker alternative in Greenachers, her boyfriend was just arrested on charges of abusing their 3 month old son and is now in jail. Jenny's son is in ICU and is suffering Skull and rib fractures. If you want to read up on it, there is a little article in today's paper, the event happened yesterday and I believe it was on the news also. Anyway, my school is doing everything we can for Jenny and her son, giving money and trying all we can to help her. This coming Monday, our school is having a car wash, so I was wondering if anyone would be so kind and donate any kind of money for her and her son. The car wash will be in Yokes parking lot on Sprague in the valley. We are making signs that will probably read The Rowe Family Fund. This car wash was to raise money for our end of the year trip to Silverwood, but when we all found this out, we gave up this money to pay for that and we are now giving it to Jenny. So if you guys would help out or spread the word, it would be awesome!!

Thank you

Snow is forecasted for tonight, tomorrow, and tomorrow night across the Cascades. The snow level is 3000 feet, which is low enough to hit Snoqualmie Pass, which you must use on I-90. Please be prepared with chains or snow tires, scrapers, and such so that you have a safe trip over the pass - we don't want to lose anyone! You can check the pass reports here:

You'll have to pay for parking somewhere, and there are two parking garages attached to the mall. According to the website (www.riverparksquare.com) it looks like the max parking per day is $7, but since we'll be there a *while* that may not apply. If you're staying at a hotel, parking is free with your stay.

since we have enough people it may be worthwhile to consider this. the hours are not quite perfect but it's better than i would have expected. here's the lowdown:
12/16 - SEA/02:30a SPO/08:10a
12/17 - SPO/01:45a SEA/07:25a

so we'd have ~5 hours to kill after getting in and when the movies start and a couple more when they were done... but nobody would have to drive!

still, it's greyhound. ugh... it's a thought though, and mgiht end up being cheaper than driving. base cost is $53...
